I am a part of the cohort who was the first to go through the brand new MNP curriculum, so these notes are the most up to date available at this moment. I got a 90 overall in NUR5002 and received the highest mark on the essay/case study assignment of my cohort, and a 92 on the exam. I also included information in these notes about grad years since some you will be applying for grad years at the end of your NUR5002 class time and the info provided by Monash THESE NOTES INCLUDE: - Table of contents - Overview of clinical skills - Fluid and electrolyte information - Acid base buffer information - Pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical manifestations, nursing considerations and interventions, and diagnostic information, and pharmacology for the following body systems: -- Cardiac -- Respiratory -- Renal -- Endocrine -- Shock and Trauma -- Musculoskeletal -- Haematology, Vascular and Pain -- Neurological -- Gastrointestinal - Interprofessional collaboration information - Examples of two page exam notes - Exam and course tips - including links to quizlets - Grad year application tips While this is a thorough overview of everything and I did extensive research to fill in the gaps left in the course material, it is not perfect and is not a substitute for the course material and classes themselves. Unfortunately the document was originally to many MB and so I had to compress the PDF file, so I apologise if there was any loss of information or blurry photos as a result of that process.
