I actually received 99 in this subject and found it was easy to do well as long as you attended every lecture, read the recommended textbook pages, and completed any tutorial work! Happy to help others do the same :)

Great subject. Was tricky at times but I found going over tutorial questions really helped with it!

Really enjoyed this subject. I have already chosen Accounting as my business major, and after completing this subject I'm very confident with my decision. This subject covers general financial accounting and has excellent application.

Exceptional subject. Came in with low expectations, came out feeling like I learned something. The lectures were engaging and actually broke down the concepts in a humorous and logical manner. Tutorials actually stuck what to was important, with that being the H/W questions and the methodology of the accounting process, rather than go off on a tangent like some other subjects. The tutor was really good as well. Not everyone's cup of tea but focuses on what is needed which is what I enjoyed the most about this subject.

Pretty good accounting subject. Lecture information not the best organised. Manageable if you put the effort in.

Do the homework option and screencast assignment and you will give yourself a good shot at getting a HD.

Doesn't matter if you want to pass or get a HD, buy the ACCT textbooks as they contain the homework questions for both ABDA and ABDB.

Great lecturer, very time consuming tutorials which drill the knowledge you need. If you do the tutorial option, enter a UPASS on the subject, watch the lectures, you should be well positioned for a distinction or High Distinction in the subject. If you don't watch the lectures, don't do tutorials, don't do a screecast, or do all last minute you will have a bad time. The lecturers seem to earnestly try to do their best to make you pass.

Jonathan Tyler is an amazing lecturer, and he keeps the class engaged. The homework may be a struggle at times but it is all doable. Remember to read the texts they give you, and to do the screencast assignment. Free marks!
