The course was very well-structured and the ideal course for a first semester law student. It is interesting and the exams were very manageable. Seminars were the key to getting good grades, as the answers to the problem questions were discussed in detail. The supplementary notes were extremely helpful and I would recommend to study it from back to front!

LAWS1701 was a perfect introduction into contract law and flowed well into law of contracts II (LAWS1702). Seminars were extremely helpful and I found that we were well prepared for both exams throughout the course. Content was not extremely difficult to understand or grasp and was presented in a clear format. I did find some lectures wasteful as all content was discussed again within the seminars. The study guide given contained all information to do well within the exam which was ideal and also aids immensely when working on seminar preparations each week.
