Coming from someone who absolutely hates chemistry and finds it super hard (especially since I never did chem in highschool), I'd say I love this subject solely because it's super easy to secure full marks even though you feel like you don't understand anything. It's the only subject where you can be lost, but you won't have much concequences for it. Pracs are a bit complicated to understand, but the funny thing is that you don't have to understand it. Just follow the procedures they gave, and you'll get full marks. Do the workshop/lab quizes which you can attempt as many times as you want (only your highest mark will be recorded - YAY!), attend the workshops and do the lecture polls (the correctness of answer doesn't matter), you'll get full marks. I only find the lectures a bit confusing and don't understand anything at all, but tbh it never prevented me from understanding stuff from the workshops. AND what makes it more amazing is that you don't have any other assessments. The quizes are the only things you must do, but even they DON'T have a strict deadline. They advise you to complete each within a fortnight, but they are open until the end of the semester, so there's no stress that you'll accidentally forget and miss out on doing a quiz.
