Worst subject with sam. Hard to comprehend with the lecture slides. Requires your own research to get through the subject

I am two years into uni and this was by far the WORST unit i have ever done. If you have Ralph Melano or John Mcgrath as your tutor, dont even bother showing up to class and be prepared to teach yourself the entire subject. Learning guide and lectures are also completely off topic to what is going on in tutorials. We would do a topic in tutorial 5 and the lecture for it would be in week 10.

Tutors are hopeless (especially John McGrath as he doesn't answer questions properly and gives the wrong advice based on his own experience rather than the textbook that we are tested from). Mostly regurgitation of textbook material in answers for tutorials. Wouldn't recommend the subject but had to do it to complete my sub major

This unit was very difficult to follow. The lecturer, lecture slides and tutorial discussions did not match up every week as outlined in the LG. The lecturer would begin one topic, not using lecture slides (they didn't cover even a fraction of what was needed anyway) and the tutor would begin a completely different topic in the tutorial. This was perhaps just an unlucky experience, but I hope you don't have to deal with the same thing. The concept is not difficult, but the delivery didn't make things easy.

God help you if you have to do this unit. None of the lecturers or the unit coordinator know what they're doing. Everyone who has done this unit will tell you the same thing.

Did not encourage learning in any aspect.. Too much content with irrelevant points.
