Easy HD!! Just stay on top of your weekly quizzes and work, pay attention to the guide for the lab report and just keep redoing the quizzes for the exam! Really enjoyed this unit.

Loved this unit!! The exam is literally from the same pool of questions your weekly quiz comes from so just keep redoing those quizzes until your familiar with the questions and answers and you will see them in your exam. It's definitely possible to get an HD in this unit

Easiest psychology unit by far. Gives you an idea of all specializations. Would recommend if you're still unsure if you should pursue psyc as a major.

This unit is AMAZING!! lectures are very well planned out and the content is clear and easy to understand. The main assignment which is a 1500 word essay (worth 33%) is totally doable. they give you an example paper and a very clear marking guide. just follow the instructions and compare your work to the practice essay, along with following the marking guide and an HD or D is totally achievable. for the 2018 s1 exam, they used the same questions that you get in the quizzes.

one of the easier units done in the psyc major. just keep doing the quizzes and go to your tutor when you need help with your report

It was very easy to pick up. If you give it a fair enough amount of effort I'm sure you'll do decently well as the quizzes and exam were multiple choice. The lab report was pretty straight forward as they gave a guide to follow, knowing mainly first years take up the unit.

Legit this is probs one of the easiest units. Honestly all you have to do is do each quiz 20-30 times and 60-80 percent of those questions will be in the exam. The more you do the quizzes the more likely you'll see the exact same questions in the exam. The lab report was fairly simple just don't leave it to the last minute. over all you only need 1-3 hours per week study which is a bargain. If you are looking for a GPA boost, pick this unit and don't procrastinate.

Quizzes written by an external company called McGraw Hill comprise 55% of your unit mark (50% being your final exam, 5% spread across the semester). They’re written based on the content of the McGraw Hill textbook rather than what they teach you, so the majority of assessable content are never addressed in the lectures or lab classes. Even more disappointing is that some of the answers they wrote to their multi-choice questions were blatantly wrong. DON'T PAY $820 JUST TO LEARN EXACTLY WHAT YOU'D GET OUT OF A $50 SECONDHAND TEXTBOOK. If you’re genuinely interested in learning about human psychology, just get the textbook from an unfortunate PSYC1101 graduate. P.S. secondhand past editions work just as well as current ones, don’t fall for the trap!!

Very simple and easy unit. Predominantly rote memory, save for the lab report which is easy enough if lab report guidelines and apa rules are followed properly. Final exam is all multiple choice and is easy to prepare for - just do the quizzes over and over again, and read the summaries in the textbook for each chapter
