Workshops just covered the basics. Had to watch low quality videos that didnt even cover the difficulty of questions given to us. Videos on youtube are more useful than the workshops and lectures.

It is a good unit overall, the lecturer isn't the best as she only goes through the really basic methods/ theories while the questions given to us are more challenging to do and sometimes undoable bc we were not taught on how to solve them. Sigit is an amazing tutor and his powerpoint slides makes everything much more clearer and easy to understand

Students are able to (1) solve unknowns in equations representing business activities and economic concepts; (2) determine the shape of functions using calculus techniques; (3) compute present value of assets and use compound interest rates to evaluate returns of financial data; (4) understand the concepts of events and of discrete random variables, and basic properties of probabilities; and (5) compute present value of assets and use compound interest rates to evaluate returns of financial data.
