Reviews

This subject is tricky and moves quickly, need to work hard.

FINC2011 is a great introduction into learning about Finance. It seemlessly introduces fundamental skills of valuing a company and how to structure corporate activities.

awesome introductory unit to finance. Jennifer was a great unit coordinator. very well-structured and interesting unit. pretty maths heavy and the content covered in each week can be quite high-volume so they will pile up quickly if you don't keep up. just stick to doing ALL the tut questions and redo them and you'll be fine for quizzes and exams. the group assignment is a big task, choose your groupmates wisely and you'll have fun doing it.

great subject

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2023

Essential content for all finance majors, also useful for economics, project management and accounting students.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2020

Was well taught by Claire Liu and George Issa. Content was interesting as the introduction to the major but was a bit math heavy.
