Reviews

This subject is more company-oriented than ACCY111 and ACCY112, and explores a lot of theory content as a result, which can be quite daunting. The lecturer is extremely helpful and organises the material quite well, breaking down the material into easy to understand bits. Do all of the tutorial questions, even if they are not assessed, as they are good practice for the mid-session and final exams, and ask for help early to clear up any problems you might have. The statement of cash flows (the final subject) is perhaps the most difficult, and is responsible for many headaches and torn up bits of paper. It is also worth a lot of marks in the final exam, but if you show all working out (for all of your questions), even if you don't get the correct answer, you should still do well overall. Good luck!
