I feel like the quality of this subject really depends on who teaches you. I enjoyed the course and found it relatively easy to do well in. They marked the final assignment harshly though in my opinion. They co-teach/ assess this unit with the Legal Research/ Writing unit. The subject is a classic introductory course. Law gets much better and much more interesting as you progress through the degree.

Sincerely I find anything related to law to be very simple, I did not need help of anyone to pass this subject. Overall this was an amazing subject that I passed seamlessly

Great course to do to get a general introduction to Australian legal system and other law courses. Its focus is on broad concepts and thinking as a lawyer. UNSW provides tutorials for legal research and referencing — very important. One may find that the course has no particular direction. But it's meant to settle you into law school!
