Great content!

Takes some time to really wrap your mind around some concepts -- a lot of them were things I'd never really thought about before. I'd say this was my hardest yet most interesting subject I did this semester. Exam was fair difficulty and so was the lab report. My word of advice would be to make sure you accurately understand and can retell what is taught.

Nice Subject with certain difficulty. It is a very abstract subject discussing around very complex and state-of-the-art theory. For someone new to psyc, it is difficult and unfriendly. However, for those are major student, I recommend.

I have very mixed feelings about this subject (even though I got an H1). The lab report was fairly challenging but marked fairly. The exam was good. I was mostly annoyed with some of the starting lectures (eg: categorisation, learning), but the lecture content got better with time and I really enjoyed the last lecture on judgements/heuristics. Wouldn't recommend doing it for fun though.

This subject it hard, but it is doable. The lectures are often long and sometimes a bit dry so it's a bit of a slog to get through it but the content gets better the further through semester you get. The lab report is hard to get your head around but it can be done, it just requires you to be on top of things from the get go. The exam wasn't too bad, and it was quite similar to the practice one we were given so that helped a lot. If you're looking to do a psych subject for fun, I wouldn't recommend this one but if it's part of your major don't stress too much, it is doable!

probably my least favourite out of the four psychology subjects offered in 2nd year. the content was just not engaging at all and i feel that this subject could have been really interesting but the content was so complicated and so detail heavy it was quite difficult to remain engaged the entire lecture. the lab report however was fine, and your tutors should give you enough support to understand it. the exam was pretty fair and nothing was too out of left field except maybe one question. stats heavy, make sure you do ANOVA!

exam was alright pre fair difficulty wise. lab report was good too and i had a good tutor so she was able to help me out a lot. the lecturers are good but some of them just speak way too slow that i pretty much fell asleep in some of the lectures.

Subject was very promising, but it was poorly coordinated. One lecturer was particular disengaged/just straight up bad (don't want to name drop). Adam Osth's lectures were the redeeming quality of this subject!

Seemed daunting at first, especially as a non-psych student, but actually came to enjoy it in the end. My tutor explained the lab report requirements really well and the exam was pretty simple.
