This unit is extremely difficult - perhaps the most difficult unit I have ever done. The support given for the unit is sub-par when you consider the guidance needed because of its difficulty. The textbook is the same one used in AFM211, and is difficult to read, and the lectures and powerpoint slides are not much better. Assignments are also difficult with little guidance. The only helpful guidance in this unit are the weekly online Zoom sessions which are tutorial-style sessions. The final exam was no more difficult than the rest of the unit, so there were no real surprises, except for one question on swaps (when convertible notes were what was emphasised). The major complaint about the final exam was the complexity of some of the multiple choice questions (including the dreaded "none of the above" option), and the sheer length of the paper made it very difficult to finish on time, meaning that work was rushed and writing was messy. Overall, extremely glad this unit was done, but given its complexity, to retain your skills you'll need to revise the content, even when the unit is over.
