Description

These ECON100 notes allowed me achieve a HD in both assignments, in tutorial tests and in the final examinations. In the notes I have compiled everything you need to know for the course, with specific focus on the graphing and mathematics portions that the vast majority of students difficult. These notes simplify the information from the lectures, textbook and tutorial work into a comprehensive, yet easy to understand document. The notes are set out using the learning objectives (and associated headings) from the textbook, with information from other sources. I have also included some tips I learnt regarding graphs, as many of the graphs appear confusing in class, but can be easily solved if you know about some hidden rules that most tutors fail to discuss. The topics featured include: -Foundations and Models -Choices and trade-offs -Determining Market Prices -The concept of elasticity -Technology, Production and Costs -Perfectly Competitive Markets -Monopoly Markets -Government Intervention in the Market -GDP -Unemployment and Inflation -Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply -Money and the RBA -Monetary Policy -Policy ( monetary)
