A very Interesting unit was easy to understand the content and structure answers for exam one of my favourite unit at Monash Law School. Senior Lecturer Racheal Kassel taught the unit very well and made it easier and fun to learn and understand the criminal legal principles

The unit introduces the general doctrines, principles and aims of the criminal law and criminal justice system, introduces the roles of civil and criminal laws in relation to harms to the person, and examines the law relating to fatal and non-fatal offences against people. It analyses sentencing and access to compensation for victims of crime

This unit had enjoyable content yet the workshop content seemed not to add extra information covered in weekly videos, whereas the PASS and LSS programs were very important. However, the essay had very unclear instructions and did not relate to the content covered in the unit. Otherwise a well-structured unit.

Really enjoyed this unit. Heli was an absolute queen at lecturing and made the content highly engaging throughout the workshops. Overall well structured and clear about the learning outcomes

Thoroughly enjoyed this unit. Well structured. Would have liked some more feedback on assessments but you still got some. Well ran. Lecturers and tutors knew their stuff and made the unit interesting.

Very good unit. The quality of teaching for this unit was outstanding, and the material itself was very engaging. The exam requires us to draw upon skills that were taught during the unit and will become useful later in the degree.

Great content and structure of lectures. Found the Case analysis was poorly explained... and wasn't sure what they required. Would have been good to have a tutorial to discuss how to write these (library material is available but still was hard to work out!) as it is the first time many of these students write a case analysis. It's like they set us up to fail and then we learn after we get our marks.

Fun subject, but has made my mind as narrow as Gina Rinehart's thigh gap.
