LAW1114 Criminal Law Exam Script + Summaries on Each Offence and Each Case in the Syllabus
Subject notes for Monash LAW1114
Description
These notes include customised exam scripts/outlines for each possible offence that may be assessed on the exam, including an outline for the defences, introductions and conclusions of a question. The outlines were made so that facts could be easily inserted to the exam script. Over 60 cases which were all listed on the study guide have been summarised with the relevant facts and precedents highlighted. Each case is under a relevant heading as to how that case's precedent applies to criminal law. Cases that have been repeated throughout different weeks are italicised on the content page. Element checklists for each offence have also been inserted, in addition to the compilation of all the sections of relevant Acts on the syllabus. Elements or factors of a crime that could be applied to more than one individual offence, whether statute or common, were written out for easy insertion into the exam outline so that the exam script was not overly long. These notes cover the entire syllabus of LAW1114: - Non-fatal and non-sexual offences against the person - Sexual offences against the person - Murder - Manslaughter - Defences
