A really interesting law unit. I really enjoyed Karinne's organisation and teaching style in workshops. The exam was much more manageable than made out to be. However, the case note seemed irrelevant to the content studied in the semester.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2019

I really enjoyed Torts. I think it will be an interesting subject to cover in more depth in later subjects. Karinne was a brilliant workshop lecturer - would definitely recommend her!

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2019

This Subject was very Interesting and entertaining, It was very easy to grasp the content and easy to learn how to answer the exam questions in a very structured format, one of my favourite units at Monash University Law School.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018

interesting content but little to no help for the assignments, criteria was changed one week before it was due giving little time to complete it.

A comprehensive unit that presents the basics of trespass and negligence. Can be demanding if no consistent studying is present when negligence comes into play. Overall, a relatively easy unit if one studies smart.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2017

Really good unit overall. Covered the basics of the area of law, such as negligence, false imprisonment, nuisance torts. Found it gave me a good understanding of the torts that were taught in the unit.
