Really interesting unit. Textbook is so out of date but makes up for it by explaining the law reform issues and surrounding context of the law. Assignment and exam both comprised of law reform style questions which is great for those who like researching. Even with no background in IT I found this unit to be a great introduction to it and not as difficult to follow as I originally thought. For those who have done IP law, they seemed to have a significant advantage for tutorial hypotheticals. Overall, good subject!
