Reviews
Gilles is one of the best lecturers, and the structure and content in this unit was easy enough to follow. I find myself revisiting the lecture slides to understand things better. If I ever do research, I think I will be very grateful for this unit and that I paid attention!

Content ended up being a lot more interesting than expected! Consisted of 2 one hour lectures a week, a mid-semester MCQ quiz on LMS which wasn't too challenging if you watched the lectures, an end of semester lab test which was open for 6 hours and open book, based on the lab classes content which had a high average in the 70s, and the final exam was only 80 MCQ which I think was quite reasonable in difficulty as well! Overall an enjoyable unit if you put the work in :)

love Gilles as a teacher, he's great and made such a boring topic interesting. I now want to know how reliable my other exam marks are :')
