GREAT unit. Even for someone who has never done law before. Although the tutor you get makes quite a big difference. If you don't understand something, make sure you ask. Just try attending another tute class if you don't like yours, they'll just mark you for that class. Some teachers are a lot better than others and I just attended a different tute class because the teacher was a lot better. Otherwise, with participation marks and the weekly quizzes you can prepare for, no reason to not get over 90% until the exam. The exam this semester was actually easy despite what I had heard, but you have to know your stuff and be good with timing so a HD is easy if you do your study and reading each week. Highly recommend this unit.

Loved this unit. Taught so well and I learnt so much about law. Would never go into a law degree though. This unit helps you decide if business law is the path for you.

Absolutely loved this unit. Great lecturers and tutors. For the exam, lecture notes and the answers to tutorial questions are a good guide.

As a person who had no prior knowledge to law, I enjoyed the unit. The textbook and tutorials are really helpful for the open book exam. Make sure you do the tutorial work before your tutorial and contribute as much as you can!

I really liked this unit and am glad I took it up as a broadening. The lecturer was great and the tutorials were also quite engaging. The only negative was that the open book exam was quite difficult and went very in depth for the time limit.

Amazing unit, great lecturer. The content is relatively easy particularly for those who did WACE 2AB and 3AB Politics and Law at high school but the lecturer and tute dynamics mean it's a very interesting unit and hard work is rewarded with great marks
