MATH1072 was largely the same as MATH1052 (lectures/workbook were the same, quizzes were the same and the assignments were the same but had additional question(s)). Extra 1hr contact lectures were held each week and the content in these were assessed in the extra assignment question(s) and on the exam. This semester's (Sem2 2017) exam was a lot harder than past exams IMO (this includes the MATH1052 exam) but the questions designed to test the MATH1072 content were largely easy. Overall, very interesting course, would recommend over MATH1052 if you like to see more applications and modelling using the stuff you've learnt and are willing to put in a little extra effort.
