Reviews

A subject that that I very much enjoyed. Content can sometimes feel a bit dry, but once you start understanding phenomena at the cellular level; everything you've learnt in MEDI 111, MEDI 112, MEDI 211, BIOL 103, and BIOL 213 will make better sense. Histology is also a great subject if one wants to do subjects like MEDI 212 (Pathophysiology) in the future. This is a very content heavy subject and includes a final practical exam. I highly recommend using histology slides found on textbooks and the web to study for the practical exam. The final theory exam is also the epitome of specificity, so learn the explicit detail. Theory exam is mostly based on lecture material, but practical material (identification) is also assessable.
