this was one of the heaviest subjects I've taken (and I'm a pols major) - the readings were really difficult to get through but the assignments themselves are ok as long as you start early(ish)

Good for anyone interested in taking media research or academia in general, it was really interesting to be a mini-researcher in analysing media and the workload is fairly manageable. The readings can be quite dense but should be alright.
