I did it during COVID so everything was online. The situation wasn't ideal, given that this is meant to be an 'application' of what you learned in GENE20001. The fact that it's a new subject didn't help either. The tutors really tried their best to make it as engaging as possible. You watch pre-recorded clips of the experiments, which is a shame since many people doing this subject want to get into research and need hands-on experience. The content in 04 is relatively 'easier' than 01 because much of the content is revision of 01. If you put in the effort and work before the tutorials, you should be fine. The only complaint I have is that one or two tutors mark you down without a valid reason. Otherwise, it's a thoroughly enjoyable subject. John, Brianna and Hayley are amazing people and are always there to help.
