Was hoping for a more practical finance subject although CFDM did not quite deliver. Also not a fan of the TAPPS exercises or Sean's lecturing style

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2018

Pretty decent subject. More theoretical than expected, and lacks calculation compared to PoF. There is a lot of focus on the rules and regulations, which can be dry at times. Sean's TAPPS exercises were great, but unfortunately not recorded on lecture capture, so do attend his lectures because quite a lot of exam questions were on the TAPPS.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2018

Way better than pof. Chander's great!

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2019

Great subject. Thanks Sean!

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2018

Sean is a pretty good lecturer. The only thing is that his slides lack any information, and the TAPPS exercise wouldn’t be recorded on lecture capture, hence you have to attend all lectures and pay attention so you can make notes. Most of the content is theory and there’s hardly any calculations.

Chander was a pretty amazing lecturer! That helped me so much when doing CFDM! The lecturer can really make all the difference!

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018

Chander explains the concepts very well. The course is very well-structured and covers the general concepts that make up the big picture of Finance.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018

Chander (our lecturer) is amazing! I could literally see how much he loves what he’s doing and how good he is in it every time I attend the lectures. This has increased my interest in the subject and made me wanna learn more. Overall, an awesome and very well-structured subject! :)

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018

Well taught and well structured. Contents were interesting.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018

This subject was tough for me but Simon whom was my Business Finance tutor at University made the journey more bearable. He knows his stuff really well and has helped my friends and other students excel in 3rd year subjects! He is a great mentor and knows how to guide you! you can search him on StudentVIP!
