Overall a fantastic subject. The main lecturer has a real passion for teaching, not for the sake of teaching a curriculum but seemingly with a real aim to see people learn and have a better understanding of ecology. Almost all the guest lecturers were also fantastic, and the pracs ranged from a bit dull to engaging, but they were always fair. The instructions for the main assignment, both in what we needed to do and how we were to present it were a bit lacking but that was the only flaw with the subject. Plus he brings in bats to lectures sometimes! I'd definitely recommend it if you're doing an ecology major or even just have a passing interest in it.
