I took this subject online as breadth and even thought about doing it as a track (Chinese 1,2,3). I changed my mind after Chinese 1, it was a very hard subject for a non-Chinese speaker like me. After the first few classes, you are expected to be able to read and write in Chinese already, so definitely moving very fast. If you really want to learn Chinese and get a high score (not just use google translate) you have to put in a lot of time and effort to learn this which I wouldn't recommend if you never speak Chinese before and want a chill subject. p/s: But if you just gonna use google translate then take this subject lol, I did and got H1 but still cannot speak Chinese

This subject moves at a very fast pace but it very well taught by a variety of teachers. With 5 hours of class a week, it is certainly not an easy breadth subject to take. However, at the end, the results are worth it

Its a tough subject honestly. you need to learn alot about chinese language and it would take you alot of time to prepare for this sunject. But the teachers are very fun and energatic. And also you get to learn the foundation of one of the biggest langauges and can benefit from connecting with chinese people and society.

absolutely loved this subject, moves quickly and you don't want to miss too many classes but it was one of my favourites
