I found MEB to be a very fun and engaging subject which I probably enjoyed the most so far in my chem eng degree. Professor Shallcross keeps you constantly engaged with the content taught via exercise sheets which can get a bit tricky to keep up with each week as you near the end of semester. However if you keep up with the content and exercise sheets weekly, you will do well in the final exam guaranteed. Assignments include an oral presentation and two lab reports which are marked very strictly in my opinion. Thankfully got an H1 but sure did have to work hard for it.

Very fun, very engaging subject! Shallcross delivers the content extremely well. There seems to be a lot of questions to work on during the semester, but if you stay on top of that by review week you'd be able to do the past exams questions without much difficulty.

Great subject overall! The lecture notes are so well-made and that's everything you need for the exam!
