Leadership has been identified as critical to the provision of healthcare. Leadership in health is not aligned with role. This subject explores the significance of leadership for Registered Nurses to the provision of person-centred, compassionate care. Students will examine the impact of a person-centred leader in healthcare. Aspects will include healthcare espoused values, teams, culture, governance, change, personal leadership and followership, and wellbeing. This subject links with SNUG303 and will build capacity for the student as a future RN.
