[DUX] Highly Comprehensive Evidence Exam Notes/Script (HD 87)
Subject notes for Monash LAW5012
Description
These complete notes which contain all legislation and relevant cases were used in my exam and allowed me to score a HD (87). I scored out of 40 for my written submission on tendency & coincidence and for my oral submission on res gestae. Thus, I scored 51/60 (85%) on the exam. These notes are formatted through headings and sub headings that make the notes very easy to follow and utilise in an exam situation. These headings/sub-headings are framed as yes/no questions and include model responses with colour coded fill in the blanks depending on whether the answer to the question is yes or no (see sample notes for demonstration). The concepts in evidence law are very abstract and require a strong understanding of their application to specific factual scenarios. Therefore I utilise sample responses for effective case analogising and ensure varying factual scenarios were addressed. Whilst this method of notes construction was incredibly arduous for myself, it provides for a clear understanding of how the legislation applies to a problem question and ensures a complete answer is written. With these complete methodically crafted notes, which allowed me to compartmentalise my deep understanding into exam-ready responses, you will be able to succeed in any evidence law exam (especially a Fiona Hum one) and save countless hours trying to understand content and make notes for this exam. These comprehensive notes will serve as integral to your learning and your ability to excel in Evidence Law. NB: I completed LAW4323 (the LLB equivalent of LAW5012)
