Law and Society Notes Compilation

Description

I was among the 4% of the cohort who received a High Distinction for this course and the notes that I compiled for the open book exam at the end of the semester were invaluable. I have organised my notes by including first the desired format of exam answers (1 page), then a short summary of the each of the different ideologies and theoretical frameworks and the for and against arguments to allow me to plan my answers quickly and effectively in perusal time (2 page), and then I have detailed each ideology/framework covered in chronological format (from Lecture 1 – 13). I have included in my notes material from lectures, tutorials, readings and recommended readings as well as arguments the lecture has specified as crucial/worth high marks. Each ideology/framework includes a description, sub-elements, arguments for/against, and academic references.
