This subject is marketing crossed with business statistics / analysis. For the first 6 weeks, you learn your standard marketing theory. However, the last 6 weeks are all conducted in a computer lab and this is where it gets tricky. If you're interested in learning how marketing uses statistics in their research then this is recommended. It's definitely challenging at times but a good tutor would make all the difference!

I really enjoyed Marketing Research Methods and thought the content was very interesting. The topics covered were relevant and applicable to real marketing practices which made learning about them engaging and straightforward. The subject involves analysing statistical data produced by SPSS (a statistical program) which at first may seem daunting but once you gain a basic understanding of the analysis process, it is very straightforward. I had a great tutor who was very clear at explaining all of the content and the lecturer also provided good explanations and examples related to the content. The two assignments required quite a lot of time and effort but they were not overly hard.
