This is a pretty great unit! The lecturer (Melanie) is great and easy to follow. The assignments are easy and there is no exams. Also, tutorials are optional.

Whilst the lecturer for this unit was really engaging, I found the content and assessments to be relatively dull and somewhat tedious.

i loved this subject; the lecture (Albert) was really good, engaging and funny which made the lecture interesting. Its a fairly simple class, talking about different arguments and things; it's stuff that you encounter every day but learning to identify and think about it. This is a class you can do really well in as long as you keep up to date this the work. You either get it don't which is what the tutor told me which is true. I did really well at the start of the course (following formulas) but then it gets to the english language which is where i fell behind. I would definitely recommend this course can help across all industries/courses. Plus no exam which took off the pressure at the end of the session. All the assessments were good though, slowly working through the quizzes.

Great choice for a people unit- you won't regret it! It reduces so much stress because the lectures are lighthearted and fun, tutorials are optional (and pretty useless anyways), no final exam, and very straightforward assignments with generous due dates. But it's also incredibly interesting and will change the way you argue and look at the world; Albert (the lecturer) is amazing and will make you love every minute you spend on this unit

One of the best subjects I've taken so far. I took this as my people unit, and the content has definitely helped me to cut down the arguments of others. Lots of fun. The lecturer is hilarious; though I found that my tutor was fairly useless - but tutorials are optional. There's no final exam - I had to do a written piece, which reduced a lot of exam stress for me. Other assessments are mostly quizzes and simple participation things. Definitely a good choice.

An interesting unit that could possibly change the way you think and/or how you observe arguments and things people say in everyday life. Assignments get you thinking about the topics discussed and the lecturer is pretty cool!
