bs unit, no clue why its compulsory for education students, luckily there was no exam for this unit but i dont think its worth taking this unit, it was a waste of time

wouldn't suggest going this unit in session 3 if you are a clin sci student, too much workload. They essentially cram an entire semester's content into half the time. On the plus side, not too hard to pull off a HD if you familiarise yourself with the content and try hard in the assignment. Also, there are no final exams.

It was actually a pretty interesting unit. One quiz and one podcast every 2 weeks. There’s no prac or tutorials, just lectures. The assignments are very easy if you make sure you practice and familiarise yourself with the subject content

absolute bullshit of a subject. I have no idea why it is now compulsory for all arts students because I have been studying arts subjects for 3 years and have never needed any of this stuff. It's like maths formulas but with words. Albert seems pretty chill but the running of the course is very messy, with assignment details going up 2 weeks before the due date and marking rubrics going up barely 4 days before. Tutes were cut by the uni before this years running of the course so even without covid there was no where to talk through the content in person and the discussion boards just don't cut it. General consensus from the discussion boards is that no one knows what they are doing. just a straight up mess. if you are a first year arts student don't feel disillusioned by this course and arts1000, they are nothing like the other units you will take.
