Lectures are well presented and staff were great.

What a fantastic lecturer! Penny was so engaging and explained concepts very clearly. I found it easy to follow the content and relevance was frequently drawn to teaching practice and current applications in terms of uni study. I definitely attribute a lot of my success in this unit to the fabulous teaching from Penny (my tutor, on the other hand, was somewhat disappointing). After this unit, I found myself looking for other units Penny might be involved with.

Penny was one of the best lecturers I've had. Very easy to follow, and interesting!

Every First Year of any kind of education based degree should take this subject. It teaches you how to optimise material for student learning and at the same time is literally training you in how to study. It was a lot of information, but easily learned, because it was perfectly designed. CONS: Hard-copy assessment in 2015. No numerical marks whatsoever, marking is dodgy, end of year grades are a guess. PROS: Everything you're assessed on is in the lectures. End of year exam is a breeze.

One of my favourite units at uni! It was really engaging and I feel like it prepared me for the teaching world, as it wasn't just theoretical.

Very much enjoyed this subject, the content, lectures and tutorials are all very interesting and engaging. The major assessment was also fun to do. If you loved EDUC105 then you'll love this too :)
