I liked the content of this unit. The teaching staff are great at teaching us the majority of the content, however, there are some cons in this unit. Firstly, we didn't receive our marks for the first assignment for 2 months. I heard the top staff had told the tutors that they have 6 days to mark our work and that each tutor had only 10 mins marking per assignment. Secondly, when any student asks a problem on the forum in ilearn sometimes we get a response after a couple of days or none at all. Thirdly we only had 1 week to learn about testing and we didn't get many examples on how to do testing, which was bad because our assignment was about 30% testing. The pros are that most of the topic was relatively easy that there are videos we watch to learn how to create an app for our assignment. We had 2 quizzes which weren't that hard as we are allowed to use the react-native website that had most of the answers, just remember to find the answers as quickly as possible because each quiz is 30 questions and you only have 30 mins. The marking was very fair and they weren't as harsh as other units. If the staff were more active and marked our assignments on time I would've given it a better rating.
