I actually enjoyed this unit! Brian is a very nice teacher and he is very knowledgeable. The quizzes were very easy to get good marks as he puts the questions in the lecture slides. The written assessment was also quite easy and I attained high marks for that. The only difficult part is the exams as the final is a hurdle so can get abit stressful to study for. But other than that, if you are into plants, physiology, etc. this is the subject for you as the pracs are made very engaging.

Brian is an excellent teacher! Admittedly he's not so great with the animal physiology side (he's a plant geneticist), but the guest lecturers cover that really well. The pracs are engaging and are flexible with what you do and how you do them. Certainly worth it if you are interested in non-human physiology!

Enjoyed it, interesting content but the unit convenor only knows half of the material properly - still a new unit, was pretty disorganised but i enjoyed it :)
