The lecture that teaches this course (Shauna Ferris) is a very clear communicator and teacher and helped the students to understand about the Actuarial practice. There is a heavy excel component to this course, which can seem cumbersome at first, but is really helpful down the line for further Actuarial subjects. The level of difficulty of the course is relatively high, however high marks are not out of reach for most students, provided they keep up to date and practice the tutorial questions.

The concepts become easy only with practice.
