The unit title is misleading because the unit actually emphasises Red Hat Linux, bash scripting, and foundational system administration. Too bad if you missed a lecture in this unit. It was recorded, but the lecturer did not wear a mic and would often walk away from the mic, so no audio was recorded. This unit is dense and a good introduction to useful ownership permissions. Still, outside of that, it fell a little flat. If you don't stay on top of the readings, the workload becomes overwhelming. Some assessments allow open book, but the book has over 15 chapters, so if you have not read it, you will waste time searching for answers. There was a final group project. Try to meet people early rather than at the last minute; the final assignment requires bash scripting and testing.
