If you want easy marks this unit is for you. If you want to actually learn some useful stuff and get challenged a bit maybe not. The lecturer is not such a great explainer so compensates by delivering everything at the lowest common denominator level. There is some repitition of ECON1101 content. She made the exam (worth 40%) a bit too easy but telling us basically all topics that would come up in the short answer section (75% of the paper), and then to add to this you got a choice of three out of five questions so if you didn't now something you could just choose a different question. The average mark is far too high. Group assignment (2000 word essay) is very heavily weighted (30%) which is an added negative. Also don't buy the textbook as the lecture slides have everything you need to know, and it is available online through OneSearch anyway.
