First part of the unit was done by George and was about inorganic chemistry. Content was fairly easy, but was extremely disorganised. Second part of the unit was by Gavin and was about organic chemistry. Content was heavy and quite difficult however the content was quite organised. Labs that stretched out for 2-3 weeks weren't my favourite of George's part, but they reduce the need of having to make reports every week. Gavin's lab reports were more straightforward. George's part of the exam was not too hard, but Gavin's part was of higher difficulty. Regular studying for Gavin's part is necessary to score well in his quizzes and his part of the exam.

The inorganic part content is quite easy, but the lecturer was very terrible as his lecture is unorganized, he also did not reply to any email. However, his part test and exam were easy. The organic part has a good and responsible lecturer, but the content is difficult, especially the mechanisms. You need to put effort if you want to get good grade for this part. Labs were fun and interesting.
