Reviews
a good introduction, lots of things to memorise, rewatching the lectures really helped a lot the research report is horrible not an easy course, but fun + lectures are pretty funny too

Really interesting subject. Great overview of psychology topics, I particularly enjoyed forensic psychology. Course content and assignments were well set out too.

A good introduction to the different areas of psychology. This course inspired me to change my degree from Law to Psychology!

A genuinely good course introduction to psychology. The report/essay writing can be quite challenging though

I swear Caleb isn't that bad.

Make sure you focus during Fiona's lectures. She doesn't put anything on her slides. Developmental Psychology made me want to shoot myself, but maybe that's just me. Frank's lectures are pretty easy, make sure you answer his module practice questions.

Turned me off doing psychology. Loads of content and babying. No room for curiosity or thought. Just memorise and recite and do what I say for the research report.
Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018
Even though I wasn't a fan of one of the lecturers the unit overall was really interesting. The research report really isn't that bad if you closely follow the guidelines they give for it.

Not a bad course overall. The personality lectures were very dry and confusing. Start the research report early - can't stress this enough!

just dont take it if you aim for an easy HD. the mean score for the research report this year is only 50%. The quizzes are sometimes not based on the lectures. also, personality lectures are so confusing in my opinion
