if you want to learn how to assimilate into the most vapid soulless form of corporate culture imaginable this unit is for you!!

Pretty chill, given you stay on top of the assignments and module works. There are weekly tutorials - if you've attended one of the careers center's events on finding or preparing for employment, it's kind of similar to that in how it was presented (extra info/content not added in module are included in tutorials). The content is decent and could supplement online information related to career or job hunting - unless you're not searching for one.

This OLE is taught badly- the tutor goes off on irrelevant trains of thought about her on life and is rude. The work is boring, assessments are pointless. The only useful thing I gained is having a Linkedin profile. Another example of a useless money-grabbing OLE with content that you could learn for free from a youtube video or blog post.

This OLE required us to attend a tutorial once a week over four weeks (it was an intensive unit of study). We had to work through modules and complete quizzes after it, which were relatively easy. In terms of assessments, we had to write a reflective essay about workplace ethics and produce a LinkedIn profile. It was an engaging, chill OLE. You do not have to be in your second year of university to enrol for OLET2119!
