Very useful subject for those who want to get into the design and practical phases of Mechanical engineering. Unit teaches you fundamental skills in the workshop lab in terms of manufacturing, constructing, learning how to use industrial machinery and strongly highlights group work. Also helps teach students basic concepts of using CAD software and basic report writing. In all, it is a very useful unit that I would highly recommend.
