This course is basically about legal philosophy. I found it difficult for most of the course to come to terms with the concepts and ways of thinking, being unfamiliar with it. Philosophy students I think would be at an advantage doing this course. It is interesting, when you actually understand it, but the readings are hefty and discouraging in their prose and size. I found that reading a lot of other library books on the subjects and topics I needed to know for essays etc really helped clarify what was being talked about.
