This subject was taught by Prof. Rohan Howitt and it was excellent. He's no longer working at the university for Sem 1 2022, but hopefully he'll come back to teach this unit. He made it dynamic, entertaining, and even remotely got most (90%) of students to turn on their cameras and be engaged in a non-annoying way. He was thoughtful of remote students. The course material was also really interesting. It focuses on globalization and the different periods that could be considered as its start. Each lecture goes in depth into a period of time where unique connections between nations were made. 10/10 would recommend.
