I really loved this unit. The professor was so passionate and really knew her stuff, plus the content itself was so much more interesting than I expected. Covered stuff like the Hanover Dynasty, the Jacobites, social and cultural history in England vs Scotland vs Ireland etc. Assessment was great (literally a small group presentation and one huge essay that was out of the way pretty quickly which I personally really liked) and if you put in the sweat it'll pay off.
