This subject has been split into ENGP1001, ENGP1002 and ENGP1003. It introduces the work experience component of the degree, which students need to attend industry guest lectures, site visits, networking events, SUCE discussion panels to show that they are engaged with the real-world application of engineering in the workplace. It also allows students to meet and connect with the senior management and leadership in the industry and the Australian Government who are working in civil engineering and gain insights into the complexities behind engineering in the real-world.
