Confusing concepts made simple by a great lecturer. Without Carl the pass rate would be a lot lower. To excel in this subject make sure you make use of all the materials Carl provides.

Carl Sherwood is definitely a huge asset to UQ. He is hands down the best lecturer and has the best ways of explaining things simply. He not only taught the course well but also managed to make statistics interesting - not an easy feat.

One of the easiest courses you'll ever do at UQ! Didn't go to any of the lectures but still did great on the both exams and the weekly quizzes. Just make sure to understand and practice all the contents covered in tutorials.

as long as you are consistent with doing the quizzes every two weeks and practice enough, you will do well. they dont drastically change the exam from the practice, time constraint is a big problem, get good and get fast too
