Harsh marking on the report assessments, definite wam killer. But I enjoyed the tutorials and simulations, and personally, I thought the content was easy.

No lecture recording plus full lecture slides. Tutorials were also a waste of time as it only involves some activities and does not teach you any course theories or problem solving. Both reports and essays are marked very subjectively. Neither Lynn Gribble or Julie Wilson (the LIC) will answer your questions fully and completely on Moddle discussion forum and it is pretty much a waste of time to look for useful information or hints. from the discussion forum. Tutorials is such a waste! Worst tutorials at UNSW and will not help you in any possible ways for your assignments and finals

COMPLETE AND UTTER BS. LIFES TOO SHORT TO DO MGMT1001. tutors were useless. lecturers were useless. homework was useless. got crap marks. i'm glad I just passed

Life is short, don't waste time on it. if its for compulsory for you, good luck lol

Unless you love management and learning about people, this is the worst of them all. Would never recommend as the tutorials dont help in the final exam and the report and essay are bias.

It was a good subject, with interesting content, but two boring lecturers and one good one. I didn't go to half the lectures, but the tutorials were good and I've made a solid group of friends there. Everest was fun - surprisingly - but the report wasn't. Final exam was easy, just know the main points.

Useless subject, don't know why it's even a core. I don't think I actually learnt anything valuable from it at all. Lecturer wasn't particularly helpful, whilst the assessments throughout the semester are not related to the actual content taught, which is ridiculous, and puts a greater strain on you just before finals. However, in terms of results a good mark is still achievable. For the final exam if you spend enough time to memorise the textbook or a good set of notes (not just the night before, which was my mistake) you can do well. For the hand in essays/reports it is likely you will hear the rumour that the marking is ridiculously harsh. That isn't completely true, it is harsh in the sense that they will rarely give an essay a HD range mark, but a DN range mark is very achievable (Which is what I got for both of mine).

Lecture slides (especially from second lecturer) are poorly structured, lack of information, confusing and not useful at all. Barely learned something from the lecture and tutorial. Must rely heavily on textbook for exam revision.

The course was good and content was okay too, but the 2nd lecturer was trash. Didn't attend any of her lectures. The tutorials are a waste of time

trash lecturer woman in the middle weeks, very trashly structured course, tutes are a waste of time
