A very interesting course that is definitely different to the maths that you see in high school and Maths 1A/1B. If you can, do it after taking Maths 1A, but having said that, I did take them together so it isn't impossible at all.

DEFINITELY do this course if you are able to, but do so after your first semester! Teaches set theory, proof theory and formal propositional logic which are fundamental areas of mathematics, and will make all future maths courses much easier. Also includes some fascinating content on graph theory and number theory.

Challenging but very interesting, worthwhile to keep on practicing and making good friends to study together as it is a challenging subject.
